How to share a Claude skill
Quick Share turns any Claude Code skill into a one-line install command you can send to anyone — no GitHub repo and no marketplace listing required. It's the fastest way to hand a teammate a skill, or to reformat a loose SKILL.md into a clean, shareable link.
1. Paste your SKILL.md
Drop in your skill file — the one from ~/.claude/skills/<name>/SKILL.md. No repo needed. Already on GitHub? Paste the link instead and we'll use that.
2. We check it and host it privately
An automated safety check makes sure it's a real, safe skill, then we host it at a private, unguessable link on augmentclaude.com. It never gets listed in the marketplace.
3. Copy the command and send it
You get the standard one-line install command. Send it to anyone — running it downloads your skill straight into their ~/.claude/skills/. That's the whole share.

Yes — that's the main reason Quick Share exists. If your skill is just a SKILL.md on your machine, paste it and we host it for you, so you get a shareable install link without creating a GitHub repo or a gist.
Is the shared skill public or listed in the marketplace?
No. Quick Share gives you a private, unguessable link — only people you send the command to can install it, and it never appears in the public AugmentClaude catalog. If you'd rather list it publicly so anyone can discover it, use Submit instead.
Is Quick Share free?
Yes, completely free. You just need a free AugmentClaude account, which keeps spam and abuse out.
