Codebase Review Swarm
Run security, quality, and performance audits on entire codebases with detailed, quote-backed reports.
Installation
- Make sure Claude is on your device and in your terminal.
Skills load from
~/.claude/skills/when Claude Code starts up — so you need it on your machine first. If you don't have it yet, install it once with the command below, then runclaudein any terminal to verify.One-time setupnpm i -g @anthropic-ai/claude-codeAlready have it? Skip ahead.
- Paste into Claude Code or into your terminal.
This copies the whole skill folder into
~/.claude/skills/codebase-review-swarm-zaxbyhub/— the SKILL.md plus any scripts, reference docs, or templates the skill ships with. Safe default: works for every skill.Faster alternative (instruction-only skills)
Skips the clone and grabs only the SKILL.md file. Don't use this if the skill ships Python scripts, reference markdowns, or asset templates — they won't be downloaded and the skill will fail when it tries to load them.
Quick install (SKILL.md only)Sign up to copy - Restart Claude Code.
Quit and reopen Claude Code (or any other agent that loads from
~/.claude/skills/). New skills are picked up on startup. - Just ask Claude.
Skills auto-activate when your request matches the skill's description — no slash command needed. Trigger phrases live in the skill's own frontmatter; you can read them in the “What this skill does” section above.

When Claude uses it
Codex adapter for running a rigorous, quote-grounded codebase review or security/QA/accessibility/performance/AI-slop/enhancement audit. Use for full-repo or large-subsystem review reports; not for normal implementation.
What this skill does
Codebase Review Swarm
Read and follow ../../../.opencode/skills/codebase-review-swarm/SKILL.md as
the canonical workflow.
Codex Execution Notes
- Treat this as a read-only review workflow. Do not modify source files.
- Write review artifacts only under
.swarm/review-v8/runs/<run_id>/. - Run Phase 0 inventory first and stop for review-mode selection unless the user already selected tracks and explicitly authorized continuing.
- Preserve the skill's evidence rule: no quote, no claim.
- For dispatch lanes, treat
outputas a preview and callretrieve_lane_outputfor fulloutput_refartifacts before consuming ledgers, counting candidates, routing validation, or declaring coverage clean; degraded or incomplete lane output is an explicit coverage limitation. - Use
rg, focused file reads, targeted shell commands, and independent validation to close coverage units before writing the final report. - If the user asks for fixes after the report, start a separate implementation workflow rather than editing during the review run.
